Monroe County reports 115 new COVID-19 cases and 7 new deaths

 Monroe County says there are 115 new cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday. there have been 7 new deaths. one among those deaths happened on Jan. 7, the others happened between Feb. 18 and March 4.



The total is 1,173 deaths so far.

The seven-day rolling average of the latest cases is 116 new cases per day.

The seven-day rolling average positivity rate for Monroe County is 1.5%

There are 158 people within the Finger Lakes Region hospitalized; 40 of them are in ICU.

The percentage of total hospital beds available within the Finger Lakes region on a seven-day rolling average is 42%.

The percentage of ICU Beds available within the Finger Lakes region on a seven-day rolling average is 37%.

The Monroe County Department of Public Health has opened a replacement vaccine scheduling link for people who are 60+ years aged and living in NY State.

These appointments, for the Pfizer vaccine, are going to be scheduled for Friday at the Monroe County Fleet Center, 145 Paul Rd., Rochester. To schedule a meeting, attend the Monroe County website: https://www.monroecounty.gov/health-covid19-vaccine.

Also, a couple of more appointments are available for public-facing grocery workers. Vaccinations will happen Thursday at the Wegmans conference house, located at 200 Wegmans Market St., Rochester.
