A total of 8,807 vaccinations are given by the district and various health care providers during that very same period.

“This means 23.2% of the population in Stutsman County are vaccinated with a minimum of one dose of the COVID vaccine,” said Robin Iszler, unit administrator for the district.

Currently, CVHD is vaccinating anyone in priority group Phase 1C, which incorporates all essential workers and other people 18 and older at increased risk for COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently updated the guidance for those that are fully vaccinated, which may be found at http://bit.ly/3bE8pp6.

Central Valley Health is going to be offering a first-dose COVID vaccination clinic for those in priority group Phase 1C next week on Tuesday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jamestown Civic Center within the Exchequer Room. Appointments are required. To register for a meeting, visit the CVHD website www.centralvalleyhealth.org and click on the “COVID-19” tab.
